Salaama Abu Said
Sam and Salaama have been working together since 2005 on various expeditions and treks. From the Gebelaya tribe of the high mountains his extended family live in the St Catherine's region.

From upper Egypt, but decended from the Bedu tribes of the Saudi penninsular

Also Gebelaya, Mohamed is responsible for running the camel school at El Biqa.

Abu Rhadi
The venerable old man of the desert and at 65ish (there is no record of his birth) is still sprightly as a teenager. His knowledge of the desert is as vast as his wisdom.
