The Sinai and Jordan are perfect destinations for school expeditions - offering just the right balance of safety with adventure. Both have history dating back to the Neolithic, world class geology and geography.
All expeditions promote cultural exchange, leadership skills, self development and comradeship that can only be formed around the camp fire after a day’s trekking.
Extra activities we offer:
•An evening of Astronomy with a 200 mm Meade LX90 GP Telescope, the altitude and lack of light pollution are perfect for celestial observations.
•Camel School is a two day course run by Bedouin trainers and is a big favourite
•A day’s snorkelling on the last day at Ras Mohammed marine reserve
We liaise from the beginning with the school to identify what the goals of the expedition should be, following up with a presentation to all the interested parties and finally a full briefing for all the expedition members.
UCAS points and D of E awards possible if the expedition duration is longer than three weeks
Short, direct flights from the UK mean that expeditions of ten days or less are feasible (ideal for half terms).
