The ancient caravan route of the Hajj, used for centuries by pilgrims bound for Mecca, winds its way through Jordan and on to the Saudi border at Mudawarra.

14 DAY EXPEDITION - PRICES FROM £2,530 pp

The expedition starts with a day exploring the ruins at Petra. From here we transfer to Wadi Rum to meet our guides and camels.

We move into the desert and pick up “the Lawrence way" – the route he took with the Arab revolt to attack Aqaba. After we pick up the old caravan route and head SE across the desert towards Mudawarra and the remains of the Hadjez railway that Lawrence blew up. After paying a visit to the desert patrol we circle back to the NW and arrive back in the Wadi Rum protectorate four days later.

"I wanted to say a huge big thank you for all your fantastic efforts to make our school expedition so amazing".
