It’s been another fantastic summer season with the British Exploring Society’s final expedition to Namibia. Trekking across the Namib to the Skeleton Coast, lots of elephants and leopards, new routes up the Brandberg Massif and rock art. The video will be out soon.
We still have Operation Hawk and the Hadza projects running this autumn, as well as planning for next year. In the meantime I have an article in the October issue of Wanderlust magazine.
The yearly battle between me and Bear Grylls’ PR machine for “The World’s Leading Extreme Adventure” category in the World Travel Awards begins again soon, needless to say who will win the third year in a row. Enjoy the dancing girls and champagne Bear.
Lastly a big thanks to all the British Exploring leaders for their help over this year and to Tim at Aquapac, for sponsoring us with his great kit.
